In a huge development for the Oceania Fortnite scene, 17-year-old Australian prodigy Tinka has rejoined JFT Esports, the organisation where he first made his mark on the competitive stage. This reunion follows a standout year in 2024, during which Tinka qualified for the FNCS Global Championship and solidified his status as one of the region’s top talents.

A Breakout Year with JFT

Tinka’s rise to prominence began with his victory at the FNCS 2024 Major 2 Grand Finals in the Oceania region. Dominating the field with 60 eliminations and two Victory Royales across 12 matches, he secured first place and a $16,000 USD prize, earning his spot at the FNCS Global Championship in Fort Worth, Texas.‍

At the Global Championship, Tinka teamed up with fellow Oceania player Danath. Despite facing fierce competition, the duo showcased moments of brilliance, with Tinka delivering clutch eliminations and strategic rotations. They finished 50th overall, gaining invaluable experience on the world stage

A Journey Through Multiple Teams

Following his initial stint with JFT Esports from November 2023 to December 2024, Tinka explored opportunities with several organisations, including EGY Esports, Rival Esports, Prodigy, and Frantik Esports. During this period, he continued to deliver strong performances, such as an 8th-place finish at FNCS 2025 Major 2: Oceania Grand Finals alongside teammates Phazma and Wreckless.
