Oceania’s own Alex, Anon, and Resignz repped PWR at the FNCS Global Championship 2025 in Lyon, France, after a dominant year back home in OCE.
The trio earned their spot with huge regional wins, including back-to-back FNCS titles in June and August where they smashed records for points, wins, and eliminations. Alex himself came in as a 7-time FNCS champ, making the team one of the most hyped OCE lineups heading into Globals.
On the world stage though, things didn’t click the same way. Across 12 games against the best trios from every region, they finished 24th overall with 159 points (no wins, but a mix of placement and elim points). That result netted them $15,000 from the $2M prize pool, solid but not standout compared to the European winners Swizzy, Merstach, and Queasy, who dominated with 697 points and took home $450K.
While it wasn’t the dream run, Alex, Anon, and Resignz still gave OCE fans something to cheer for, proving once again that Oceania belongs on the global stage.
