Epic Games has taken legal action against OCE Fortnite cheat seller “Mirrored”, who was once seen as more of a meme in the community. He first went viral back in 2020 for his high-pitched rants and emotional outbursts during matches. Over time, he started bragging about selling cheats, even showing off money he claimed came from it.
Epic announced on Twitter that they have permanently banned Mirrored from Fortnite and filed a lawsuit against him. Soon after, Mirrored deleted all posts about cheating. As part of the case, Epic is also making him issue a public apology.
This isn’t the first time Epic has gone after cheaters. In 2024, they sued another OCE figure, “RepulseGod”, after it was revealed that pro player Forbes cheated during FNCS qualifiers. Epic not only banned the account but also forced RepulseGod to repay his tournament earnings and publicly apologize.
It hasn’t been confirmed yet what penalties Mirrored will face, but it’s likely Epic will demand repayment of money he made from selling cheats.
Epic is making it clear: cheating in Fortnite has serious consequences. What might start as a joke or a quick way to make money can now lead to lawsuits, public embarrassment, and big financial losses.
