Harley Fresh, better known as Fresh, is officially back with something completely new: Animo Studios.

Fresh has been one of Australia’s biggest names in gaming for years. From winning Fortnite events to pulling billions of views across Twitch and YouTube, he built a massive following. About three years ago, he stepped away from streaming and content creation, disappearing from the spotlight. Now we know why.

Behind the scenes, Fresh has been building Animo Studios, a live gaming studio that turns real human dealers into animated virtual hosts. Using motion capture and streaming tech, the dealers are brought to life as characters with unique personalities, stories, and interactive elements. It’s designed to make online games feel more like entertainment than just betting.

The studio made its debut on September 8, 2025, launching exclusively with Stake, one of the biggest online casino platforms. For now, it’s focused on live table games, but Fresh says there are plans for game shows and other formats down the line.

To make Animo stand out, Fresh has brought in talent from places like Netflix, Warner Bros., and Universal Studios. The studio’s official X account, @animo, has been teasing clips with the tagline: “real equipment, real hosts, unreal interactions.” Their site, animo.gg, also gives a first look at the project.

Fresh explained on LinkedIn that his time as a streamer taught him how to adapt quickly and push new ideas, skills he’s now using to grow Animo. The studio is aimed at 18+ audiences, with a focus on responsible gambling, but the bigger goal is clear: to change what live online entertainment looks like.
